Background Story
This story takes place in a future of the world after WW3, where mankind finally destroyed themselves with their overconfidence of technology, claiming that they are God, declaring nuclear wars against each other, and demolished nearly 70% of Earth surface. Their so-called technology had gone, and the population decreased greatly to roughly 40%, forcing humans to redevelop from square one, struggling to rebuild the glory they had misused before.
Slowly but steadily, centuries after centuries, mankind finally arrived at the era of modern Steam. To avoid committing the same mistake of the past, all nations of the world had made a Great Pact of Peace, with only one content, yet greatly affects the world;
"Mankind shall not use their knowledge to create, develop, discover - or any similar kinds of act listed - even a single weapon of mass destruction. From now on, science and technology will be developed and used only for convenient means of living. Every single head to break this agreement will be severely punished according to the law of the world regardless the subject, object, nor the reason."
And so, humans were able to maintain peace they long desired. They avoided to create overpowered weapons, and the development stopped to the class of cannons and Gatling guns. On contrary, technologies for others were greatly outstanding, it was not uncommon to saw flying ships roaming on the sky.
Main Story
'As long there're mankind, there'll be war.'
Even with the great pact that the world still obeyed since it was formed, war eventually broke.
The war began in western and southern Europe. Even with limited arms - swords and spears, guns and cannons - , the war was extremely fierce and bloody. Many towns were destroyed, countless innocent people were slaughtered, woods and plants were burnt to ashes, followed by starvation across Europe. Soon, the war was spread to Northern Africa nations and Eurasia to Eastern Asia. It's also the first time human started to replace their destroyed body parts suffered from battle with steam machines, later known as cyborgs.
At this time of chaos, people were forced to learn Military basics to provide manpower for the war. Other education were put aside, children were trained for war purpose only. This situation worried a man from the Ancient Rome of Italy. He used to be a mighty commander, fought hundreds of battles, until he grew tired of the bloody path he chose. He retired from the military and focused on studying, gathering as many knowledge as possible. He desired to build a safe school for everyone, untouched by the smell of war. However, it was nearly impossible since the earth of Europe was already tainted by blood and corpses of war.
So he, along with his German friend(?) and his two grandchildren, they fled to the inhabited island near Italy and began working in years and months of realizing the dream. Finally, they succeeded of building an academy in the only place untouched by the violence of war; The Sky.
Dragons?(well they're the second highest vote so I hafta put them in story somehow lol)
Nobody got any idea where were this legendary scale-covered creatures coming from. At the beginning of the New Age, a Chinese claimed that he saw a dragon flew on the sky. Few weeks later, a British (known having bushy eyebrows) said the same thing. No more than three months later, dragons started to peacefully roam around on the sky along with birds and flying ships.
One claims that they were mutated lizards from the aftereffects of previous nuclear war, other says an unknown nation purposely created the dragons for biological weapon purpose for WW3, there's even a statement that they are aliens. Though the origin of the new species is yet to be discovered, nowadays dragons has lived along with mankind, treated as common animals. Some are fierce as lion, some are peaceful as sheep.

More to come...
The academy is a great zeppelin that can hold up to 1200 people alone. But for academy reason, only 200 students are allowed to enter the flying school. The main founder, who's also the School Principal is unknown by name, and only refers to himself as "Grandfather Rome." The Vice Principal, also name unknown, called by teachers and staffs as "Germania" because the only certain about him is his Germanic appearance. Students tend to call him "Papa". Grandpa Rome also the pilot of the Zeppelin, while Germania is in charge with students. He created the rules of the school and claimed to be too strict by Grandpa Rome and many students. The two grandchildren of Grandpa Rome, Feliciano & Lovino Vargas also helped the two to build the aircraft, but since they are horrible at anything besides painting, drawing, cooking, singing, and flirting, they still have to attend the school.
The Zeppelin travels around the world with no fixed home, avoiding wars as much as possible. It lands on seashore to gather fuel, but according to the situation, it may not land at all and use smaller flying boats to gather fuels on the raging ground.
School Subjects
Obligated Subjects are Mathematics, Physics, Geography and Physical Education. The additional Subjects (students can take at least 3) are History, Biomedical Science, Literature, Engineering, Civics, Economy, Martial Arts, Biology, Religion & Morality, Arts & Visual Design, and Culinary.
Other Things (there may be addition later)
- Students ranged from 15 to 25 years old. But there's one 12 and 27 years old students. (Peter and Heracles respectively)
- Dormitory is (of course) separated by gender, It's on the same floor and divided only by a corridor, guarded by the appointed student Vash Zwingli.
- In male Dormitory, one room may consist 3 students. Since female students are lesser, one room in female Dormitory consist 2 or single student.
Character Sheet DescriptionI'm bored, soI'd like to have some pointless explanation about the character shi-...sheets.
Name/Country : Please note that you are playing as normal human here, so despite the country origin, you have to list the name. Characters without official names may create their own name. Of course, it's at least exist as name in the country. Ex: You may not name Australia as Hanamoto Kurota or something completely out of the line.
Appearance : Canon countries aren't that necessary to put description/pictures about the appearance, but still recommended. Unless there are some 'changes' in the model, this may be necessary. Ex : If you wish to change 'Gilbird' on Gilbert into 'something else', you might have to post the description/pictures about the 'thing'. Or if you wish to turn your chara 'Cyborg-ish'(lol this is steampunk after all) you may post the description about the machine body part.
Age :You are normal human. Therefore, you must have age. ;D you can use the official age or make your own age if you think the age doesn't entirely fit or you have no official age(like me ;D). But of course, keep it rational as possible. Ex : Just because Cuba has no official age doesn't mean you can suddenly turn him 19.
Taken Additional Subjects : No, it doesn't mean you have to take every class you take as additional subject (I'm too lazy to create the school-schedule thing anyway), but by taking few of the subjects (minimum 3) that means you are studying the subjects and therefore you have at least some knowledge about it. Ex : Let's say I have taken History, Engineering and Biomedical Science (And maybe I will lol), so at least I know a bit about history of the world, how to craft simple machines and medical treatment.
Character History :Like I said before, you(or we)play as a normal human, so don't post the entire history of your country here. Create it as you please, and try to be as interesting as possible. If your chara have some mechanic body parts(Cyborg) you have to write how you ended up like that as well. You are not born with mechanical arm that continually grows along with you, right?
PS : More coming soon. Russia is heavily sweating right now since the room is too hot.
